Mistakes

For a long time this blog was called SCHOOLBOY ERROR. I picked the name because I believe in making mistakes. I’ve made a lot of them and I hope I’ve learnt a thing or two along the way. Here are a few quotes I like about the power of screwing up:

“A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.”George Bernard Shaw

“It was when I found out I could make mistakes that I knew I was on to something.”Ornette Coleman

“Victory goes to the player who makes the next-to-last mistake.”Savielly Grigorievitchid Tartakower

“An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made in a very narrow field.”Niels Bohr

“You must learn from the mistakes of others. You can’t possibly live long enough to make them all yourself.”Sam Levenson

“Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.”Mahatma Gandhi

“The only man who makes no mistakes is the man who never does anything.”Theodore Roosevelt

Thanks to Quotiki for helping me find the quotes.
